Until now a urinary tract infection takes 24 hours to diagnose by culturing a urine sample in a media. The new technological concept can reduce the course of analysis to 8 hours and it can be carried out using normal laboratory equipment. The method is also applicable for other bodily fluids such as blood, spinal fluid, etc. The method can also be used for examining foodstuffs for bacteria and microorganisms.
